Sending Case Pictures to the Lab

Step-by-step instructions for dentists to submit pictures to the lab for a logged or unlogged case.

The relationship between dentist and dental lab is an important part of patient care.  Part of that care is the sharing of information, such as case pictures.

As we look at better ways to improve our workflows and decrease cyber security threats, we are asking that all future pictures be submitted through the Customer Portal and not via email. 

By uploading pictures directly to the portal, the pictures are immediately attached to the case details for the technicians to review while minimizing the risks associated with email communication. Our portal connects directly to every scanner on the market, and we accept all digital scan files, including micronmapper files.

Sending Pictures for a Logged Case

For users requesting instructions of uploading pictures to a logged case:

  1. Log in to the Customer Portal
  2. Go to "Cases"
  3. Click "View Cases"
  4. Search by patient name
  5. Click the three green lines left of patient order number
  6. Choose "Upload Files"
  7. Choose your photos & attachments to upload

Sending Pictures for a Case Not Yet Logged

For users requesting instructions of uploading pictures through the resources tab to the account for cases that have not been logged in yet:

  1. Log in to the Customer Portal
  2. Go to "Resources"
  3. Choose "My Files"
  4. Click "Add Files" at the top left
  5. Add patient name and any attachment notes
  6. Drag files to the window that says “Drag & Drop Files Here”
